First: Synchronous E-Learning Attendance

Synchronous e-learning attendance refers to virtual presence in virtual classrooms and ensuring the trainee is present in real-time during the session. Therefore, regulatory policies and procedures for synchronous e-learning attendance have been established as follows:

  • 1. E-learning attendance through virtual classrooms is considered equivalent to standard in-person attendance.
  • 2. A minimum of 25% of the total program/course hours must be delivered via synchronous virtual classrooms when training is delivered in an asynchronous e-learning mode, for programs lasting more than one month.
  • 3. A minimum of 25% of program hours must be delivered via synchronous virtual classrooms in the case of blended learning (whether virtual or in-person attendance), for programs lasting more than one month.
  • 4. Mandatory adherence by all participants to attend according to the training program schedule.
  • 5. Trainees must attend at least 75% of the designated hours for the program in which they are enrolled.

Second: Asynchronous E-Learning Attendance

Where the trainer uploads the training content—including files, audio, and video—to the e-platform, and the trainee accesses it at any time in accordance with the platform's policy.

Third: Recording, Documenting, and Tracking Attendance & Absence

Attendance and absence are recorded, documented, and tracked according to the following mechanism:

A. Synchronous E-Learning Attendance: Learning where the trainer and trainee gather simultaneously via audio and video.

B. In the event that the trainee does not adhere to the approved minimum percentage of "e-learning attendance", the following actions will be applied:

  • 1. Excused Absence: An official excuse from an authorized body must be submitted. If accepted, the trainee may resume the training program.
  • 2. Unexcused Absence: The trainee will be disqualified from completing the training program without refund of fees.

This attendance policy applies to all trainees enrolled in the OSHA Training Platform, with full commitment to ensuring its implementation. All staff members are likewise obligated to comply with it, and any violation subjects the offender to disciplinary action according to the procedures followed at OSHA Training Platform.
